Listen up, kids

16 Oct

I have a confession. I am addicted to audiobooks.

I prefer listening to inspirational or business-minded books on my iPod while plowing through my commute each day.

My most recent “reads” are The Brazen Careerist by Penelope Trunk and Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki.

The Brazen Careerist was relevant to my current situation as a job-seeker of the Generation Y persuasion. Plus, I can revisit the parts I enjoyed and have done so on the way to job interviews. It is a great professional pick-me-up!

Just yesterday, I downloaded Bill Strickland’s book, Make the Impossible Possible after watching a clip of him perform.  I am enjoying it so far.

Then today, I came across this:

Get a FREE download of Seth Godin’s new audio book, “Tribes,” for a limited time.

Through Audible.com you can get the audio version of his new book for free. As a Godin-follower, I was excited for it to come out, and am even more excited to pass on the word.

Free is good. Free Godin is better.
